After exploring Nazaré with your guide, enjoy time for lunch and to experience the town at your own pace. On exceptional big-wave days, the experience may be extended when conditions make it worthwhile, giving guests additional time to witness one of Nazaré’s most extraordinary natural spectacles.

Are the entrance tickets and experiences included? Yes. Admission to the Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo in Nazaré and the included local experiences are covered as part of your tour.
Is lunch included? No. Lunch is not included, giving you the freedom to choose where and what you would like to eat during your time in Nazaré.
Where does the tour start? The Small Group tour departs from HF Fénix Lisboa, at Marquês de Pombal. Please arrive at 08:45 for a 09:00 departure.
Are hotel pick-up and drop-off included? Private tours: Lisbon pickup and return drop-off are included. For the Oeiras-to-Cascais coast and Sintra area (including Rio de Mouro), EUR30 total per private group covers both pickup and return drop-off. For Small Group tours, the standard departure is from the meeting point at HF Fénix Lisboa. Pick-up and pick-up + drop-off may be available as optional upgrades when booking.
How long is the tour? The standard tour lasts approximately 8 hours, including travel time from and back to Lisbon.
Will we see the giant waves of Nazaré? Giant waves are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. When conditions are favourable, the itinerary may be adapted to make the most of the experience, but wave size and conditions always depend on nature.
Do we visit the North Beach? The standard itinerary focuses on Sítio da Nazaré and the Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo, overlooking the area associated with Nazaré’s famous waves. A separate stop at Praia do Norte is not part of the standard itinerary.
What should I wear? Comfortable footwear is recommended, as the tour includes walking through the medieval streets of Óbidos, historic areas and viewpoints.
Is this tour suitable for children? Yes. Families with children are welcome. Please keep in mind that this is a full-day experience with walking and travel between Lisbon, Óbidos and Nazaré.
